 Hi ! I am S. Viknesh, mridangam artiste, disciple of Madurai Dr. K. Thiagarajan. I have been playing mridangam for the past 15 years. It gives me immense pleasure to travel with Mrs. Vijaya Sriram mam in her incomparable music journey. Being a mridangam artiste, I had accompanied many of her students for carnatic classical concerts. I am happy that I have been accompanying talented artists nurtured by Mrs. Vijaya Sriram mam and to be a part of her musical journey as an accompanying artiste. Thank you

 Music is the medicine of the mind" We, the twin siblings joined Maanasa Mam's classes in December 2020. Since then we go through a musical meditation enriching both our minds and bodies in an energetic manner. We are also deeply inspired by her dedication and passion towards both music and teaching. We are very thankful for the incredible patience and effort which Maanasa mam shows in guiding us and bringing the spirit of music in us. Her classes also seem to be fun loving and enthusiastic that we never wish to miss a single one. All thanks to Maanasa Mam.

 I am truly blessed to have Vijaya Mam in my life. It’s because of her that I was able to perform my Arangetram on January 10, 2024, accompanied by the legendary violin, mridangam, and morsing artists. She guided me through every step of the process, from learning Manodharma music to practicing Kalpana Swaras, Neraval, and Aalapanai. The countless rehearsals sessions with Mam and the other musicians coming together to practice, created an incredibly supportive environment that helped me grow. It was through those sessions that I built the confidence to perform and reach the level required for my Arangetram. Vijaya Mam’s love, guidance, and belief in me made all the difference. I am forever grateful for everything that she has done for me. This place has been a Virtual home for my musical journey.

 I attended Carnatic music classes with Maanasa for a few months, and I really saw a huge improvement in my skills. What I love about her teaching style is how patient she is and how clearly she explains everything, making even the complex parts easy to grasp. She’s always encouraging, supportive, and kind. I also appreciate how she tailors each lesson to my pace, which made learning feel much easier and helped me build confidence. Thanks to her guidance, I now feel much more connected to the music.
